Anoth One says

"No simple way to return, total hassle. Gave my misrepresented purchases to charity. "

Dave Koch says

"Disappointing. Do not assume you can return an item as easily as you can with other major internet marketers. The item I ordered arrived but did not meet my expectations for quality for the price. There is no simple return process; multiple photos required, follow-up emails, in general a real hassle."

Robert Nadon says

"Do not buy from Poshmark! Poshmark is horrible. It is a site like ebay but with no return policy. So no matter how bad the junk is that you receive you are stuck with it. I purchased a pair of shoes that were supposed to be new and were not, and were the wrong size. Women's size as opposed to men's. I came across them from a google search that had mens as the first search term."

A.C. Williams says

"The reviews are correct about their return policies. I would not purchase from them unless you are 1000 percent certain you want the item “AS IS.”"

Alohanuii Hawaiian Kine says

"Letter sent to BBB unfair practices...they claim easy returns if you don't want the item...its been 4 months and after numerous emails and contacts with the seller..USPS letters..this is POSHMARK's reponse!

From customer service...Therefore, we are unable to offer you compensation or further assistance with his order. Moving forward, we suggest asking clarifying questions in the comment section regarding the item prior to purcresponse!
WHAT! TH8S IS BS..DON'T BUY FROM THIS FAKE ORGANIZATION!"

Godwin Higa says

"I purchased this item with a false description...I paid 57.00 for one cup thinking I was getting set! False advertising.. I sent her a letter in November and contacted you...
I was told to check my account orders...and there's no indication on a purchase was made. I want tobreturn this mug and get my money back!
POSHMARK REFUSED TO HELP I SENT A USPS LETTER TO THE SELLER 3 MONTHS AGO...NO RESPONSE...DONT GET RIPPED OFF!!

Please help...
POSHMARK...IS A FAKE ORGANIZATION RIPPING OFF CUSTOMERS!"

Dani says

"My only complain is their fees! I find it absolutely high and ridiculous that they charge so much. I just had a sale and made $5 profit while they took $15! How ridiculous is that? Wished there were other popular platforms with lower rates. I do prefer Mercari over Poshmark since their fees are lower but they have recently raised their fees but still below Poshmark. I will absolutely switch over different platforms as soon there is one with lower fees! And recently Poshmark went IPO! That’s how much money they are taking from their customers. Let’s find a new platform where fees are nominal or less greedy than Poshmark."

Lorraine Winters says

"This is the worst purchasing platform out there. I "purchased" a Canada Goose jacket from one seller only for them to refuse to ship it. I then purchased another Canada Goose jacket from a different seller, which they accepted, only for them to change their minds two days later. Do not shop here if you're looking for seller accountability and platform integrity."

Alida Bonifaz says

"First orders were ok but this last one makes me never want to use the app again. The only way to talk to the seller is by commenting on the listing. I needed an item for a photoshoot. The listing said it would be shipped in 1 to 3 days. When it wasn't I told the seller I needed to cancel because I would no longer be able to use the item. No reply. No way to cancel. I was only able to cancel by day 11 after ordering and I missed it and he shipped the next day. I dont need the damn thing and don't know if the shipping im paying it going to end up costing more than the shirt. You can't even call Poshmark directly as far as I can find. If you're gonna buy something--be sure you don't need it by a certain time."

Suki Monroe says

"The customer service is only by email.
I've asked them twice very specific questions about the ID verification and they responded with telling me to be patient with the USPS tracking numbers on my order.

I HAVEN'T ordered anything. Its like they don't read your Email but have a generic response to send people.
The names of the people who responded are Indian which tells me, along with broken, incorrect English, that customer service is outsourced.

They require you to have your drivers license or passport on file....
Why would any smart person send them their drivers license or passport.

I DON'T trust them."

KellBell says

"I made a purchase on poshmark for a Versace skirt size 6. In Italian sizing this would be a size 42. The item I received was not the size that I ordered yet I am being charged for this item and I was told I am not allowed to return for a refund. The skirt I received is a size 4 and it clearly states that it is an Italian size 40 directly on the tag. I have photos of this.

Since my purchase was over $500, the item was first sent to poshmark to be reviewed in person, even then they did not see that it was the wrong size and still sent it to me!!!

Poshmark website says that you are able to return an item for a full refund if the item description was not correct. Yet, I am being told there is no problem with the item description when in fact there is! The size of the item is a size US4/IT40 and the description of the item said it was a US6/IT42!!!!!!

I emailed poshmark and told them that the size chart the seller used to label the sale online was not correct and they told me they realized their size chart is incorrect and are working to fix it. (I have possession of this correspondence and would be happy to provide it)
So why am I being held responsible for their mistake? I did not receive the item that I purchased.

I did not agree to purchase the item that I am being charged for and my money is being stolen from me.

If this mistake happened with a reputable resale service like Tradesy then I would have never been sent the wrong item in the first place. And I can’t believe that I am still being denied my return and refund after I have brought this problem to their attention multiple times already."

Dan Johnston says

"Difficult place to shop. Too many sellers either out of laziness or deceit don't describe thoroughly their wares. It is obvious from comments around the web and a little browsing on the site that a lot of fakes are being listed. This means that you have to ask questions. In my short experience, I have received mostly lame or evasive answers. Further I was blocked from asking further questions presumably by some algorithm. Problem returns and customer service appear to be the main sources of complaint. This totally contrasts with Ebay for example. I would have to say a big caveat emptor applies to the whole enterprise."

Maria Yvette Garza says

"I shop here all the time the first time I ask for a refund cause the shoes I got were to different sizes even though they said 5.5 they denied a request for a refund this is absolutely ridiculous they told me that I should have asked for the right size and has nothing to do with the right size it is two different shoe sizes even though they said on the shoes imprint 5.5 that is nonsense very disappointed on Poshmark.... they didn't even bother to hear me out.... oh I had ask one one other refund cause the shoes were falling apart.... but I have brought so much stuff from there.... they just lost a good customer..... It's not like I was asking for free stuff I was just asking them to give me a refund for something that was totally wrong....."

Flower says

"I get an email from poshmark to rate the seller. This sounds like mercari, this is why apps stink. I sell the sizzle not the steak. I sell for value market not the price. So, the $%^& on this app need to do better work. my site is stevehforman.com and we have bar codes."

Samantha Tennison says

"Shipping is ridiculous, 7.11 flat fee no matter what the item is. Its 1-3 day expedited shipping, but that’s after the 10 day grace period for a seller to accept and ship item. And due to covid delays the actual ship time is 7-10days (which is ground shipping). Worst case it takes 20 days to receive an item from the exact moment you purchase it. Even though you pay 7.11 for 3 day shipping......you’d think they’d offer ground shipping for a lesser rate since they can’t actually guarantee a three day ship time from the moment of purchase. Funny they take your money the moment you click buy, but are not entitled to a refund for 10 days if the seller doesn’t actually ship the item also. Overall 2/10 would recommend, only use if you cannot find an article of clothing on any other app and it’s worth risking a month of waiting on."

Tracy Inkenbrandt says

"Everyone has been extremely helpful Purchased two dresses and tops one has completely come apart where the arm attaches to the body after one-time wearing! The second was already coming apart on the cuff before wearing it! Many of the dresses do not come as they may appear on the site and the compensation for the dissatisfaction in your orders is not handled properly, The quality of what I received is not what was advertised. The shirts are much thinner and cheaply made. The dress strap immediately popped and the material is cheap One thing didn't fit properly. I have two items in total that I need to return because I could not wait. When I tried to exchange for a different size my emails were ignored I’ve emailed and emailed to request a returns no response back I went on the internet I did my research about customer service number and I finally found this number which was plus one--𝓉𝒽𝓇𝑒𝑒 𝑜𝓃𝑒 𝓉𝓌𝑜 𝒻𝑜𝓊𝓇 𝑒𝒾𝑔𝒽𝓉 𝑒𝒾𝑔𝒽𝓉 𝑜𝓃𝑒 𝓏𝑒𝓇𝑜 𝓃𝒾𝓃𝑒 𝓈𝒾𝓍 --called that number when my line was connected they helped me some with instructions so that can return this merchandise back to them my refund initiated to me!!! I have resolved the issue with this company and a refund has been issued I notified"

Kimberly Klausner says

"Exceptional service My husband ordered me two dress . Using their size chart he ordered a medium The color in the picture was a rich chocolate brown and the product itself was ashy, grayish brown, and kind of looked like they’d been sitting in someone’s closet for 30 years. The fitting was also terrible even though the sizing chart was an exact match. I think they would have fit better if I was taller (I’m 5’ 5’’), but I probably would have returned them anyway because the color was so different from the picture. They’re not completely ugly but definitely not worth the $80 price tag. And almost a month after shipping them back (for $20), I still haven’t gotten a refund I went online I do research about their customer number and I got this number ᵗʰʳᵉᵉ ᵒⁿᵉ ᵗʷᵒ ᶠᵒᵘʳ ᵉⁱᵍʰᵗ ᵉⁱᵍʰᵗ ᵒⁿᵉ ᶻᵉʳᵒ ⁿⁱⁿᵉ ˢⁱˣ called that number when my line was connected they helped me some with instructions so that can return this merchandise back to them my refund initiated to me I would definitely recommend!"

"I ordered a specific brand of face lotion and when I went to squeeze the bottle, the bottle cracked in my hand. I turned the bottle over and the expiration date was 7 years past the use by date. The lotion had gone bad to the point that the bottle it was in was breaking down."

Mike S says

"Not at all happy or impressed with Poshmark. Took an opportunity to sell an absolutely genuine clothing item on Poshmark, but in an unsubstantiated claim, the buyer decided the item was not real. Poshmark allowed the buyer to renege on the purchase and return the item based on a bogus claim of counterfeit, citing some unidentified "expert's" opinion. I did not appreciate the buyer's and Poshmark's insulting insinuations that I sold an item under fraudulent circumstances."
